I got a kawasaki 650 brute force 2005 when it is parked it is killing the battery so i tested it by taking the positive cable off and useing a volt meter to see how many amps it was drawing it is drawing .64 amps so i started unpluging things the only thing that made it stop drawing was the dash has enyone heard off this?thanks

 

Yep. That happens when water gets into the circuit boarding of the dash and causes corrosion/short-circuiting. You may want to install ON/OFF switch to cut off the amperage draw.

 

The dash still works fine but like i said it seames to be drawing with the bike when the dash is pluged can it make somthing else draw?how would i put a switch on it?

 

i tried my dash on a buddys bike and it dosent draw eny ideas

 

Under the seat, there is black plastic fuse box. Open it and pull out the 10 amp fuse on which the label says "EBC". Pull out the fuse, then check to see if the dash meter is still drawing the current or not.
