Default Can a Praire 300 4x4 tow my boat?

I have a 17' Whaler (925lbs) plus a 350lb motor; the specified towing capacity is 1100 on the Prairie 300, but I understand towing capacities are set on braking power. I just want to make sure I won't burn up a belt on my way out of the water. Only towing about 100 yards. Thanks!

I think you can if the ramp has a good traction. I've seen boat dealers using a similare sized ATV to move their BIG boat/trailers around their shop. Just make sure you use your qaud is in LOW gear (if equipped) and 4x4.

Give it a try 300cc is really underpowered honestly for half ton pulling... I wouldn't recommend doing this every time you need your boat pulled but once or twice shouldn't hurt.
