Cool need to replace starter cable on 700 Prairie

I am trying to replace the starter cable (choke cable) on my 2006 700 Prairie. I have gotten to where the cables go into the carbs. I have removed the clamp screws but now have no idea how to get the cables out of the carbs. Need help please!!!!

> Remove the small metal plate that holds the starter cable plunger on each carb by unscrewing the screws.
> Hold the plunger spring compressed and free the cable end from the plunger at each carb.
