Default kfx700 filter, jetting and idle questions

ive been reading and it seems that the main suggestion is to run a twin air filter/cage combo. im guessing this deletes the stock cage. does the no-toil kit work as well or would a K&N filter work just as good?i have a uni,no toil and have given some thought to the twin air.

as for jetting i want to keep it simple. the 12 hole mod and primarys would work but im trying to sort out my idle issues.

after a ride, when i come to a stop it just idles out and dies. the idle screw doesnt seem to make a diff all the in or out. when i did pull it out all the way there was some crap on the end. im guessing the carbs need a good cleaning. what would be something i look for to clear up the issue?

make sure you dont have any air leaks and your valve clearances are in spec.Mine does that, once its good and warmed up it seems like i have to up the idle a tad because it wants to cut out when i stop, like a low idle almost.Only had it a lil while still gettin used to it.Strong as hell though i like it...lol
