Just picked up my new 87 Tecate today, and it is sweet. Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a owners/service manual for it. Does Kawasaki still sell them for older quads?

 

You can check on e-bay, as I've seen them pop up there from time to time. If you can't locate one there, or from your dealer, I have an extra one I might be willing to part with. Also, if you check out www.buykawasaki.com, they have Tecate parts breakdowns (microfiche) online.

 

Thanks Brian. I actually called my local Kawasaki dealer and he ordered one for me. I was surprised when he said that he could get me just about any parts (factory/aftermarket) that I need. I just figured that I would need to look elsewhere for parts since Kawasaki hasn't produced the Tecate since 1988.

After waiting 2 weeks for it to come in, my dealer told me that the manual was discontinued but he is trying to locate a replacement.
