Default Kawasaki 300 Bayou leaking oil

I have a 92 Kawasaki 300 Bayou 4x4. I have an oil leak at the rear driveshaft and fills the boot up with oil. I have taken out the driveshaft to replace the seal. The one I'm replacing is in a bell shaped housing that attaches to the engine with 4 allen head bolts. There is a seal inside and an o ring on the outside. Maybe I'm overlooking something, but how do you get the old seal out and the new one in? I have tried, but can't get it out. Thanks for any advice.
