oil is cheap, fill it and haul a$$

Beleive me, I want to change the oil, but I get in trouble when I change the oil every 5 tanks of gas. He says "you only need to change it twice a year, unless you're abusing it." It's still not as bad as the car in our garage that he's storing while it's a classic. It's been over 10 years since that's had an oil change. THe last time he changed the oil in that was when he put new valves in it in June of 1990. I say the same thing, it won't have problems if it's properly maintained. I would if I could.
