Item # 16017 in the parts diagram. The second piece above the main jet. Must be installed prior to installing main jet holder. Easily forgotton/lost or installed from the top when removing jet holder and rotating carb during cleaning.

Yes that's the needle jet I was talking about,its in carb,,,

 

i usually put 2 washers under my needle my lakota runs fine now i too was having that same problem try putting two or more (2 to start)washers under the needle to raise it up

 

one more question,,when I took carb apart first time the diaphragm on pump plunger on side of bowl was torn,I didn't worry about I don't use plunger anyway.would this cause my problem?

 

When dealing with carbs every small part makes a difference, Even a stretched diaphragm can cause problems, Replace what you know is wrong or you will think about it going wrong when you ride and it sucks to have a 2$ part you know is bad leave you stranded somewhere.
