Im looking at buying a 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 650 4x4. The owner says the 4x4 doesnt engage because of a bad switch. I am going to check it out tomorrow. Is there anything I can do to check or bypass the switch to be sure the 4x4 works? Anything else I should be sure and check out on Prairies besides the usual?

 

Well I checked it out looks like the solenoid may be sticking? Also the carb needs work fuel was leaking out of the overflow. The bottom skid plate had been ripped off and looks like it is burning oil......white smoke out the exhaust. Should I stay away?

 

Id stay away unless you dont mind a fixer upper or its just really cheap.

 

I have an 03 prarie 650 bought an aftermarket fuel pump from highflow the leads for the wiring are bolt on is this safe to submerge in the fuel tank
