I have a 2004 kfx 400 it will die while riding it. I will try to start it and the battery will be dead. I charge the battery and it will fire right up.

What is the battery voltage when engine is running?
It should be 13+ VDC at idle rpm and go up to max about 14.5 VDC at higher rpm.
If not, your charging system needs to be checked.

 

Mine did the same thing and it was blowing fuses on the solenoid. I could put a new fuse in and push start it and it would run, but then it stopped doing that and blowing fuses, now it just isn't getting spark PERIOD.
I have replaced everything electronic on it except for the wiring harness and the starter button. The button works fins but where the problem is,I have NO IDEA.
