I just got a 1989 LT230E great condition. I got it running great when it will spark. I bypassed run/kill switch and replaced the pulser. Thinking out loud. Could I run a hot wire to the cdi from the battery and unplug the stator wires to bypass stator. I checked all grounds and coil seems to om out good but did order new one any help will be appreciated.

 

Just did another ohm check on coil pack and it tested bad. The first tester I used was not working right. But thanks!
