Default Kawasaki prarie 360 revs up in high

I have a 2005 Kawasaki prairie 360 that will not move in high gear at 1500 rpm, I've jetted the carb and put a moose racing belt on it. Once I reach this rpm my throttle seems like it does not help acceleration or top speed from this point forward. Any tips or pointers anyone has would be appreciated.

Not a Kawa guy,but if the engine revs up and speed doesn't,even with a new belt, might be time to check into the torque converters for worn parts.2005 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4X4 KVF360A Parts, 2005 Kawasaki Prairie 360 4X4 KVF360A OEM Parts - BikeBandit.com Plus really helps to have a service manual. See if this link works..http://speedzonemanuals.com/manuals/...rairie_360.pdf

It turns out my foot brake was as tight as a human could get it I loosened it and the pedal that had tight cotter pins from the factory, but the throttle seems like it may stil take some extra gas to move at 1500 rpm when starting and putting the atv in high on a warm summer day after hauling one hindered pounds of stuff or riding ten to fifteen mph.

Thanks Old polaris man i will try that I found out I have 648 hrs on her today, good luck with retirement.

Running in high range with a load is what tears up a lot of belts and clutches no matter what brand. Use low range any time under a load and you'll increase the belts life. Hope you get it sorted out.

ok well if theres any other random advice you could give me it'd be great, I know my last belt was very loose and my carburetor was adjusted to two half turns because the atv would stay at the highest rpm you had reved to while driving and would move without throttle being applied in gear.

Sounds like you need to turn the idle down or check back into the carb or torque converters?? This is where that manual link I posted might help better than we can..
