I have this starting issue with my Bayou.

Here are the facts:

-1995 220 Bayou
-Starts and runs fine when pull starting
-Battery is almost new with plenty of juice
-The ATV fires right up when jumping the solenoid
-The start button checks good with ohm meter, closed when pressed, open when not.
-Neutral light comes on when in neutral.

I really need someone who knows this stuff. This is my first ATV, I normally stick with bikes.

Faulty solenoid if it clicks, either a broken wire or or a faulty solenoid if it doesn't.

 

Turned out to be the neutral safety relay.
