650 V-TWIN - BRUTAL POWER
#11
Chub,
I might just take you up on that. The Polaris is proven machine. The Prairie will have a few glitches in it since its their first year of production. I know the Sportsman is going to have more ground clearance than the Prairie. Probably a better ride with the IRS suspension versus the swingarm.]
I will wait a little longer.

I have been researching for a new quad and have been watching the 650 v-twin closely. I have some concerns about it and am wondering if anyone else does. I am wondering how reliable the fuel pump in the gas tank will be? A cool idea of lowering the weight for better handling but gravity flow NEVER fails. Also the rear axle looks spindly. It will be putting out gobs of torque. Will it hold up? How about fuel consumption? It is suppose to have twice as many power strokes. It makes me wonder what the range of the beast will be. Also I think Kawasaki is really dragging their feet on this thing. I cannot figure out why Dirt Wheels did not get one for a test ride. I would like to hear your comments.
