Default Bayou 300 Coil Starter

Hi all, first post! I picked up a 95 Bayou with a few issues. One issue that is bothering me is it does not have a pull start on it. I am confused as how one will go on it as its pretty flat. I have attached a picture of the side of the bayou, and the picture of a starter I was going to purchase, but could someone tell me what else I am missing?

Thanks, I looked at the diagram and I see the starter pulley with tabs, but I do not understand how it connects to the starter pull rope pictured above. Maybe it will make sense once I get both parts.

The recoil is similar to Polaris recoils and others. If the recoil is working right, pull the cord and you'll see a ratchet(pawl) arm extend out as it hits the yoke spring. The ratchet catches on the closest slot of the pulley to spin the engine over.Once you release the recoil rope the ratchet is pulled back in by a small spring attached to it. Look at the lower 4 parts of the recoil assembly shown in the parts breakdown I listed.

Looks like the key is missing too, you will need it to stop the pulley going round on the crankshaft, it is on the crankshaft page, part number 92038A.
