Default 08 big bear 250 electrical issues

Have an 08 big bear 250 2x4 that gets power to the harness only when you bypass the solenoid. There is no constant power to anything on the harness. with this be an issue with the solenoid? I have checked all fuses and pulled off the wiring harness to check the wires for any damaged wires. everything looks good. Where or how do I get the constant power? Need a diagram

I wouldn't post Yam questions in the Kawasaki section. However, most Yams have a fuse on the solenoid. This requires the solenoid to be fitted the right way round. One big terminal has an M for motor next to it, the other big terminal has B for battery.

Thank you merryman I didn’t realize that I was on the Kawasaki section. I had found a video that explained the point you were making in above comment. After watching to video and went back to checking the solenoid I found that someone had the wires on the wrong side so I switch them around with the red to “B” and the black to the “M”. Now I have the constant that I was looking for. Thank you for your response
