Should be OK, that part of the casting is in compression, or has no force on it at all, when the brakes are applied, not a good advert for their quality control though.

Warning! Before you go through all the trouble of stitching and booting a tire make sure it and the the wheel will fit!..

Found a wheel now the hard part finding a useable used tire.

Got the oil filters today. Finally!
Got the oil drained and the old filter out and the *&#$E# %U@$E*^ filter bypass is GONE!
Why in the hell would someone leave it out?

If I remember rightly it comes out with the filter, obviously someone took the old filter out, didn't notice it, and it went into the bin with the old filter. There was a post about this recently on here, new ones are not expensive.

Got one ordered $20USD. i hope the oil was not as sludgy when they where running it!
Time to mix up sum homemade sludge flush.
