Default Brute Force Winch Plate Location

Is there a "proper place" to mount the winch plate on the front of my 06 Brute Force 750? I took the front plastic cover off but can't seem to comprehend where it goes...

Not sure how much this will help you or not, but Harbor Freight sells a winch plate for cheap. I bought two of them (think they were $10) and made a custom mount for my '92 Timberwolf. I had to drill through the frame for the mount as the Wolf didn't have a mount location in stock form.

Thanks, bud. I ordered 2 off ebay. One of them was made exactly for mine so I installed it without having to make holes. Here is a picture.

One of the 2 i ordered off ebay fit perfectly under the radiator on a slight angle. No holes required, thankfully. Pictures forthcoming...
