This is a fat long shot I feel like but I'm starting this thread for bayous specifically the klf220 to post mods, help/ask other for help etc. My bike recently was the only of our surviving bikes in a fire that whipped out bits of where I'm from and so I got it home the other night after 2years of sitting I finally have the itch to mod the **** out of this thing just for the hell of it.

Right now everything is still stock except for the work performance front shocks.

My main focus is to get the bike up and running perfect before fully tackling my mod lists
currently the carb is getting fuel but the bike seems to not be as when I am trying to start it the only ways I've gotten it to start was spraying a little gas right into the carb and then pulling the manual start as I have to fix/replace the push start the bike fired up and then died off after about 3 seconds, on the second try of doing this the bike ran for a second but this time the carb had popped and shot a ball of fire out which didn't do anything bad it was out in a section and flat so my main question on this is what's happening and how can I fix it.

I have also ordered a replacement throttle as when I was riding this one a few years ago the throttle would get stuck wide open and I would have to take a hand off the bars to pull the throttle cable and have it stop. Now I could have went with a beat up oem thumb throttle if I had tried but I chanced on a twist conversation kit. The one I show isnt the one I had ordered but was the closest I could find.
Do these conversation kits work for the KLF220?
