650 4WD IS JUNK!!
#22
Your 650 could not tow "BIG THING'S" because of your "BELD TRANSMISSION". Your "BELD" were "BURN UP" in know time. That's where a "GEARED TRANSMISSION" were keep on going with out a "FLAW". That's way your 650 is "JUNK" because it has no "IRS" and a "GEARED TRANSMISSION"

Man, you must be trying to make no sense and look like you really don't know anything about quads! First of all you don't know how to talk right, and second of all you are bad mouthing a quad you clearly don't know the capabilities of! Really now, do you think that the Kawi and a lot of other belt drive quads would be such a hit if ALL of them could, under no circumstances, EVER could go in water with out slipping every time??? GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE GROUND! I agree with Cowboy, different quads are better for different people depending on what they want. But you don't have to be stubborn and bad mouth other people's quad when you are just insecure about your own!

Beld drive? Assuming you mean Belt drive? I will agree that gears are superior in "breaking strength" or the point of slipping when compared to an auto with belt drive for seriously heavy loads, however you really ought to do some serious research before opening your mouth next time. Take a look at my "snow pics" below. That is a '00 AUTO 'Cat running 27" Bi/Tri Claws towing a '91 Suburban UP HILL in over 2' of snow-can you say BELT DRIVE??? I've towed that same suburban with trailer attached as well both through snow and deep mud. As for logs, well, unfortunately my pictures of towing the really big stuff didn't turn out right, otherwise I'm affraid you'd mess your pants. One other question-ever see the tow competitions over the last couple years? How about the sled pull in particular? Can you tell me exactly how many of those machines competing in the sled pull were manual trannies, with gears-not belts??? Oh and who exactly were the winners in those competitions? OK, so maybe the winner won't quite be fair-how about say the top 5??? Now how many manuals now are in the running???
Even with huge 'Claws under my belt drive, I still tow unbelievable loads, with no problems what so ever. With over 1,200 miles on the machine I just tore the tranny apart for a good cleaning, the belt still looks brand new. Never have I had a problem with it, never has it burned or slipped while towing anything. Would I trade it for a manual? NO WAY-it works great for what I do so why fix it if it ain't broke. Who exactly do you plan on convincing that this new Kawi is "Junk"? You've really done nothing here but stick your foot in your mouth by showing your complete ignorance for the subject at hand.
Like I said earlier, Obedience training has worked very well for mis-behaving dogs. I'm sure they offer a great school to teach "respect", of which you could definately learn a great deal. If you like, I'm sure we could rig up a good "shock" collar as well for these ill-mannered times.
A little research and respect will go along way when trying to convince people in a certain way. One cannot expect to change anybodies mind without knowing at least a little bit about the subject at hand. Kind of like trying to convince somebody in Arizona that they absolutely must have a snow plow for their truck-afterall, they'll definately need it this year, ya know!

This guy, wait this kid can't be for real. Not even I am that stupid. Read his last post. He is just some 12 year old trying to be smart because his dad on his king quad got spanked by the Prairie or something. "Your Beld were burn up"? C'Mon, no one is that stupid, not even a 12 year old. I have nephews that age and they know the differance between <belt> and <beld> and so on. This is just some puttz trying to be funneeeee

OK guys, I see your point about the IRS and the Transmission. You proved it to me now, SORRY guys. Is the KING QUAD Really out dated that bad? COWBOY you have GREAT PICS of your CAT doing what it does best, you sold me on the Transmission now. I understand what you guys were tring to say to me now, next time I will watch my words and be more open minded next time. I would like to know if my KING QUAD can be changs from drums to disc "front, rear" like going to Highlifter or somthing like that?

BigBad-
Wow! Thanks man! Glad you liked the pics, sorry I don't have any in some real deep mud-the damn developer lost my film so I never got those back. I'll have some more up hopefully in the next few weeks, and definately after elk season-it is nasty mud then! As for upgrading to disc breaks-I'm affraid I can't help you with that one-I don't know enough about the machine itself. My guess is that yeah, it can be done, just how much work do you want to do in order to have it. If the guys on here don't have an answer for you, you might give the guys at Highlifter a call. They have excellent customer service and are very knowledgable with all quads. If there is a kit, they would know of it or could tell you how to do it. Like I said, I don't know much about the King Quad, but I'm sure it is great at what it was designed for. Don't sweat it being "outdated". Sure it's always fun to have the newest, biggest and baddest thing out there, but if the machine you've got now does everything you want it to, then you've got the best machine for you! Sure the new '02 machines are out and have some serious improvements over even last years models but still, my 'Cat does everything I ask of it-even being considered 2 years old now, yet I'm in no way wanting to upgrade.
Anyway, Best of Luck to ya!
