I got a Klr250 blackbox for my MOjave, removed the old one and the wire harnesses don't match up with the ones on the new Black box. How did you get yours on. Thanks

 

I was always told they were the same except the KLR didn't have the rev limiter so this is very interesting.

 

I had to cut the harness off and rewire it. I went to radio shack and got some butt connectors and some heat shrink to cover the connections. It's not that hard. Depending on the length of wire coming from the LKR box, you may have to add wire. I hope this helped.

 

Could you use the wire harness's from the stock Black-box and splice them to the Klr box? Thanks

I had an extra wire from the new black box. I cut the connectors from the old box and spliced it with the new box and it still won't start . What going on??? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
