Just back from atv jamboree
#1
After seven days of hard off roading and over 700 miles ridden at the utah atv jamboree I must say the praire 650 is a fabulous machine. After a fun day of riding we were hanging out and I asked my buddy if he wanted to race his new Grizzly just for fun, well he jumped at the chance and we lined them up in front of our motel. When someone flashed his lights we took off and I beet him so bad [sorry Phil]he thought I jumped the gun.We lined up again and this time I told him to go when he was ready, forget the flashing light to start us.The praire won again by a large margin.Maybe my praire is just faster than normal or his grizzly slower I dont know. The gas consumption on the praire was much worse than I expected but not one mechanical problem.

Hi Bearman,
We got back home to Texas on Wednesday. Was glad I got to meet you in Richfield. We had a great time and have made reservations at the KOA for next year, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise! On Thursday afternoon my 650 tranny commenced to whine and growl quite loudly. Prior to the Friday ride, I had one of the Kawie reps check it out. He said to go on and ride Friday as I was not going to do any damage to it. I did and by afternoon I was embarrassed to ride it to the park. Everyone was looking to see where all the racket was coming from. Will take it to my dealer next week. GeeBee

Hi GeeBee
I was very glad to finally meet you in person at the jamboree,to bad we couldnt go on a ride together. What a shame about your clutch but I am sure Kawi will fix it under warranty. We left Saturday morning and drove straight thru to Cali, but am anxious for next year.
