We can line it up on Mt. Morris Rd. to 60 mph or so, but I'm sure you'll win.
You're 100 lbs. lighter, 2 stroke, efficient power delivery with the clutch kit, and other mods.

Mine = heavy, stock, 4 stroke.

It's pretty slow on the start, maybe they'll make something for that.

Big mods could really increase the hp, but that's not the purpose of the machine anyway. I actually think it's too much power for how heavy it is.

Put this 650 engine in a 400ex chassis and now we're talkin'

2000MoJave,
thanks for the info on the fuel filters.

Jeff,
where you getting my Xplorer being 100lbs lighter? Its 588lbs stock, and with the addition of the Mudrunners, its around 640 lbs.The Kawi is 606lbs?I think the race will be much closer than you vision. And lets forget all about lining them up on Mt Morris rd.I cant forget who I am and what I stand for.I did tell you that I am a ASI and MATVA ATV Safety instructor did'nt I?It sure would look bad for other riders to see me drag racing on Mt Morris rd.Thats like a cop walking into a bank and robbing it,they just dont go hand/hand.We will race sometime, but not on Mt Morris rd.

Oops on that statistic, I looked on polaris web site at a 2wd sc400.
As far as mt morris rd, I was smiling when I typed it, I agree with you, and I know very well how much the ASI instructor programs mean to you.
I still think you'll win, but we'll see. It'll be fun anyway.

Bill-
Sounds like a good excuse to take her out to the barn for a good cleaning too if ya know what I mean -didn't ya say she was "wishing she was a quad"??? heh heh heh, sorry, just couldn't resist. Must be rather refreshing over here-all good, honest people with helpful replies-nice change! Seriously though, I don't know anything about the Lakota's, but I do hope they work out great for you, and provide both the wife and yourself with a great ride, living up to your expectations. Having been spoiled with the good performance of your polaris (when it's running anyway ), I'm sure the new toys have a big shoe to fill. I think it's great you and your wife can have such a great time riding, that is truly a great thing. If I can ever find a woman myself, that will be one of her main requirements! heh heh heh. Well, maybe not the "main" one, but she'll have to learn sooner or later-it's just too much fun to pass up.

Anyway, Best of Luck to ya, hope you really enjoy the new Lakota's!

Mike

Well guys tomorrow is the day guys I'll be headed to the house for seven days of pure riding pleasure.
As most of you know I have some mods that came in this last week and will be doing the installation tomorrow.
I'll still be checking in from time to time in the next seven days.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I'll have my full reports and what they did for the lakota.
So you all have a good weak and I'll be talking to ya later.

Gaff,
Can't wait to hear how that 13 tooth sprocket does. I think that will be my next addition.

Bill,
Pipe and jet the Lakota's, if you want to of course. That really wakes them up. New machince, honestly.
