Mounted Goodyear Mudrunners on 650 today, I'M DISAPPOINTED !!!
#11
I just talked to the Manager, Steve, at Tread Depot. He graciously offered to take back the 25" tires so I can buy the 26" Mudrunners from them. He also was generous enough to offer to pay for the shipping, and possibly the dismounting charges. He verified the numbers and calculations from the Goodyear web site. He is going to call Goodyear today to ask them about this. I will call him later and find out what Goodyear had to say about the situation.
Thanks to Tread Depot for helping me correct this situation when it clearly was not their fault. I'll keep you guys posted.

HEY,Guys read the post & reply's about the goodyear mudrunners I just ordered a set of 26x9x12 for the front and 26x12x12 for the rear of my 2002 POLARIS 500 H.O. mounted on 12x7 ITP wheels front and rear.I called the place where I ordered them from and talked to the salesman and told him of your problem in reguards to tire size.He offered to mount A 26" and a 27" mudrunner tire on my new wheels before he sends them out to me and give me the actual size of the tires mounted and inflated so I could check and see if the 27" would fit.I to do not want to loose any height on my machine like the post stated.I thought this to be mighty generous of him to offer to do this I will post his measurements when he calls me back. P.S. sorry about the tire's being smaller this would make me mad also.

Look at GBC Dirt Devils, I love them put the stock 25 in. size on mine, very close in height to the stock Dunlop's, but way more durable and the all around performance is awesome in everything. the 26-27- and 28 inch height's have 1 an a quarter inch tread's. I got mine from Treadepot.com

Jeff,
very sorry to hear of your problems.I have 26 inch Mudrunners on my Xplorer, and beleive me,these dudes measure up.In fact,my friend Jeffs Grizz 660 has stock 25s on his,and there is a HUGE differance in size between his tire height and mine.
We are having a Toys for Tots benefit at the Mounds next Saturday the 3rd.Go to the ''where to ride'' section for details,

The 23 3/4" meaurements I got while the tires were on the quad, no rider. I took off the tires and now got a measurement of 24 1/4" at 7.5#.
So they are a little closer to what goodyear advertises. The front is off by 3/4" and the rear by 1.05".
Any way you look at it I lost 1/2" clearance over the stock tires.
