How do you get the seat off of the mojave. Thanks

 

Hey,
In order to remove the seat you must unbolt it along with the rear fenders. It does not have a simple latch as do many atv's. It is the same for the Lakotas. It is not hard, but just a real pain in the butt.

All you have to do is unbolt 2 of the four bolts that hold on the grab bar-it's pretty easy to reconize which 2-then pull up and backwards on the fenders and there you go.

 

I have moved my battery to under the seat. When I did this, I needed an easy way to get the seat/rear fenders off. I took 2 eye bolts the same size as the stock bolts (3/8"?) and cut them about 1/2" longer than the stock bolts. Then I drilled a hole in each end to accept a small clip to keep the bolts in place. Now it is as simple as pulling the two clips and yanking the bolts out to get the seat off....no tools needed.
