I HAVE DECIDED ON THE MUDRUNNERS WHY BECAUSE I HAVE HAD THEM ON MY 95 BAYOU
FOR OVER A YEAR AND I LOVE THEM GREAT TRACTION AND THEY RIDE SMOOTH. I WANT YOU OPINION
SHOULD I GO TO 26 INCH OR THE 27 INCH? ON MY 650 WOULD I LOSE TO MUCH POWER WITH THE 27 INCH
WHAT DO U THINK? WILL THEY RUB ON THE FUEL TANK
THANKS MUDRUNNER

I have to go with the answer that gives the most ground clearance. I was not concerened with power loss, since I have two cylinders, each as big as the Bayou's.
I guess that really depends on you because you know best where you ride. I sometimes ride where I need more ground clearance. I bought 28" mudzilla's and like them, as long as I don't go faster than 40 or ride on ice. I did lose some power with the bigger, heavier tires, but I am going to get some bigger, lighter tires to use in the summer.

Hey, did you know that the 650 was as about as detuned as you could get. With a few easy mods that 650 would rip, like it doesn't already. But it is detuned for a reason, the reason is so that it would last for many many years without problems.

I will be curious to see over the next few months as mods become available for the 650 just what may be hiding inside those twin cylinders. I have heard that the 700 was greatly de-tuned but I hadnt heard that about the 650, not that I'm complaining. I am waiting for my tires to come in I got 589MTs for the rear and 489XTs for the front. I stayed with stock size as clearance isnt a big issue for me and wanted to keep my power available. I hope that the Titans dont measure up alot smaller than what they should be.
