<< It's not on there website, is this a Kawasaki corp. deal?
When does the offer end? >>
Not sure when it ends, but it was supposed to start Feb. 1st. I guess they are just starting it early. The info came from the dealer who got it from Kawasaki themselves. I am using my Kawasaki card also. Not sure why it's not on the website.

Reading the fine print will be real interesting. If the remainder of the balance after 1 year is on their credit card, I would try to get a loan to pay the remainder. Some of the zero interest deals get you by charging you for the whole years worth of interest after the 12 month, if it's not paid off by then.
I bought a cam-corder from Best Buy with 0 interest for 6 months before. I was two days late on a payment (on-line bill pay snafuu) and I got hit with a $25.00 late fee. What a crock. That was way more than the total amount interest I would have ended up paying. I should have just payed cash, but I thought I'd be crafty by using there money for free.
I financed our bedroom set for one year at zero interest from Fingers furniture. The way they do it is show you the intrest on your bill as if your paying it and then take the amount off after it's payed in full by the twelth month. Don't realy care for the way they do it. I think they do it this way so you can't just pay it off with a card on the eleventh month without paying the total amount. (I may be wrong on that one)
Now my wifes new car- 36 months zero intrest, thats the way to go, no hidden b/s.

I agree Dave.
Your right, if you don't get a bank loan or pay it off by Jan '03 the interest is tacked back on. I already planned on this, but good thing you brought it up for others to see. I was planning on a bank loan, but if I can pay a monthly payment and have it taken right off the top every month I'll do that for a year, then get the loan from the bank.
Some of those scam really get ya, but everyone should watch what they do before they sign anything.

My brother checked into that 0% deal and it is offered by HRS which also underwrites? the Ski-doo gold card. From the little bit I read, as long as you are approved and you don't miss or be late with a payment then you get the 0% rate. That is an awesome deal as long as you know you can pay it off by next January. This incentive works out best for those who were planning to buy already. Now you can purchase your machine early and not have to wait until you saved up enough. A guy just needs to be careful not to buy something when he was never planning to do so in the first place.
I know I want to buy a KLR 650 and if everything is as it appears I'll be able to buy it two or three months early which is great considering we can only ride street bikes from May till October in Alaska.

Well this is a good example of never skimming over the paper work when it comes to offers like this. I'm guilty of just glancing at the web site and terms for the Kawi card. Right now all they are offering is zero down. Maybe this will change when they update their site. The present APR on a Kawi card is something like 16.9%, which sucks. My bro told me that Yamaha is offering 0% financing and I thought he meant Kawi. Too bad Yamaha doesn't have a dual sport bike I like.
