I got it up to 5,000 RPM's. I will open it up tomorrow and see if it hits higher then 8000. (I just didn't want to make a lot of noise because of the neighbors

Kawi 250 what do you think of those razrs anyway? I'm pretty impressed with mine but I haven't had them too long. Do they seem to wear quickly? I heard they wore quickly but also heard they lasted a while. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I REALLY like mine. I have ridden them in snow and in mud and hardpack. They are awsome. Only problem, I've ridden them on the pavement and it rounded each **** pretty fast. My ATV will not touch the pavement ever again so the tires will remain new for quite some time. It just snowed a week ago and I had so much fun. The tires did great, on both acceleration and braking, the sliding is worlds better than stock too.

Well I got my tach today (Gotta love UPS) and I installed everything as follows:
Black (Ground, Negative)
White and Red (Tail light power source)
Green (Green wire leading to coil)

And. . . . It does not work. The back light works fine when the engine is on so I know its getting power. I think that it is the green wire (Coil) that is not working properly. The tach pointer does not move. It is still installed now and I am hoping that this will work sooner or later. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work? What wire coming from the stator sends a pulse? Maybe if I get it from there it will work. ANY IDEAS?!?!?

Hey I love my Mojave its such a great quad.... I mean look at it this way.. they came out in 1987 and they were like the first 4 stroke quad to have liquid cooling.... i mean look not even the 400ex has liquid cooling... oh and I raced my Mojave against my friends 300ex with a supertrapp pipe and a dyno jet kit and a UNI air filter and i smoked him...
