Well, I am going to run it on 4 cylinder mode and it should work that way. Alright, on a 4 cylinder engine, two pulses are sent to the coil every one revolution. On my quad, every one revolution of the engine there are two pulses,(Or so I was told) so therefore I THINK it will work. And for the mounting, I am goin to make a bracket that goes in between the two bolts of the handlebar clamps. That way I will be able to see the tach when Riding. It should be coming on Wednesday and I'll have it mounted by Thursday if I don't have much to do. I Will tell you guys how it works as soon as I am done.

<< Well you should of ordered a bigger tach because the mojave revs 10500rpm when the rev-limiter comes on. It will rev even more with some cams and the rev-limiter out, probaly around 11000rpm >>
I actually think the Mojave's stock rev limiter kicks in right around 8,750rpm. Now with the rev limiter removed or the klr 250 black box and an after market cam and heavy duty valve springs you could probably hit 10,500 rpm's or more.

Well I put on A Tach, not the one I ordered but another 8,000 RPM one. I didn't rev it past full throttle, because the tach is to my snowmobile and I don't want to blow it. It works fine and is mounted between the handlebars. I can't wait to get the other tach with a shift light and all
