Tomorrow new Prairie 650!
#2
Congratulations. You will love it.
Most people also get winches. I don't know if one is better than the other. Make sure you check out my 650 website and look for the winch switch. I am hoping to get an award for it someday(chuckle). Cheaper winch kits have a huge switch and you can't do what I did without a dual thow relay, which comes on the warn A2500 kit, but could be purchased seprarately and used on any other.
Most people don't like the tires, and many replace them. The most popluar tires people are getting for the 650 is goodyear mudrunners, itp 589m/s and titan 589m/t I think. Some people that ride a lot of mud go for outlaws. Some people that ride mostly on dry get dirt devils.
Always read the manual an used the correct oil for the motor, front diff and rear diff. The oil for the rear diff can be found online, but the dealer stocks it (don't use a gearbox oil, only use mobil 424). Synthetic oil can be used in the engine, but only if it meets kawasaki's specs listed in the manual. Mobil (mx4t and vtwin) and amsoil both have motorcycle oils that meet these specs.
You may want to search the kawi forum if you have questions so you don't ask the same question that was just discussed last week. Sometimes the experts get tired of repeating themselves and you may want to know what they had to say. Searching older posts helps.
