Well, I finally broke down and bought it. Searched all the midwest dealers (ok-ar-tx)
to find the best deal and ended up in Arkansas with a price of $5990.00 plus 199.00 setup.
Luckily no tax for out of state sales. I sold my first and only quad (Polaris 250 Trailblazer) for college tuition money and have been wanting one ever since. My buddies have all Kawasaki quads and these 4-stroke machines have held up really well through out the years with little problems. Kawasaki has the best quads on the market in this authors opinion. I've read the forum here for a couple of months to help me justify writing that check. Riding is believing the hipe and enthusiasm associated with this machine, just incredible power and features of no other. I checked out the Yamaha and even rode a couple. Being a larger rider than most, the Prarie definately has the best balance and ergonomic features built in. I did find a better price than listed above but all they had left was green. Nothing against green, but I preffered the red. I've heard rumor of a couple new colors for 2003. We will see....Thats about the only thing they could possibly change on this great ride!!

$5990.00, WOW!!! That seems like a great price to me. I'm in North Texas and most I priced was the full retail of $6999.00 I finally found one at $6702.00 out the door with a ramp included.
I used to spend alot of time in Talequah when my cousin attended college there. We did alot of four wheeler riding on a ranch outside of Talequah with some of my cousins college buddies. I don't remember the exact location but it was near a river and we had some big time fun. Hope you enjoy your 650 as much as I have enjoyed mine. One bit of experiance, er' I mean advice, is don't let that 600 lb beast ride you. If you ever want to venture to Texas for a ride I'll try to show you some rough terrain to transverse.
