I have a 92 Mojave and purchased a PRM full chassis skid plate and swingarm/brake/rotor guard. Where I live there is nothing but rocks. The skids have been on my machine for almost 10 years now and they have held up beautifully. The fit and finish is excellent and you can't beat PRM's price. As a bonus, the guys at PRM are very nice to deal with should you have any technical questions. I also have DG A-Arm guards (PRM no longer makes for Mojave) that did not fit without modifications in my machine shop. (Anyone out there have the same experience?). I think I paid about $70.00 for the chassis skid.

Rockbasher, yes, i have had experience with several DG parts. None of them ever fit right and i work on them way to much to get them right. If anybody else offers what I need, then I will not get DG. The prm stuff is nice.

I have PRM and thier is no better out there. I had DG skids many times, and they are not worth even getting.

I would get wich ever one is cheaper, the PRM or Armadillo. I bought the Armadillo through Rocky Mountain ATV and it is a well made product, that bolted right up and fit perfect.

Just checking out the pic's on your web site. Nice looking Mojave! I noticed that you have shock covers (outerwears?). How do you like them, been thinking of getting some for my Mojave. Do they fit well and where did you purchase? Also, what do you think of the Polaris as compared to Japanese quality?

Regards

Hey thanks. I think I have a picture from behind which shows the skid plate but I guess I didn't post it on my page. I bought the shock covers through the Kawasaki dealer, I think they were around $35 for the front and $20 for the rear? I like them a lot, they look good and keep crud from building in the shocks. They are about 1 year old and the Kawasaki log is pealing off the back from washing it. My TrailBoss has been good to me. It does what I ask of it and it has never been beat on or anything so I can't complain about it. At first I was a little weary on the quality, the auto trans makes some noises (but I guess most brands do?)and the rear brake lever is useless and the brakes sqeal more than I'd like, but it has never let me down.
