I jsut picked up my frame from the powdercoaters. I also got my swingarm, a-arms, footpegs, and tie rods powdercoated. They look sweet! Click on the link below to take you to the pics.

Hey Lurch,
This isn't a slam but I'm wondering why you choose the Mojave as your race quad. It seems like you would have a better advantage if you raced a 400EX or something similar. Just curious?

I like my Mojave but use it as a trail quad and it seems that dollar for dollar it would be way less expensive to build a race quad out of a 400EX. Again, I'm not trying to be a smartass but just wonder why you went with the Mo. BTW your quad looks awesome.

Some people like to be different. It is more fun and more challenge to beat everyone with a less popular quad.

Hey Lurch, how about that for a coincidence? Both of us in GA, and both with the name Lurch.

i understand where u are coming from, because i have a mojave and would like to mod it for it would beat 400exs.My friends say why dont u go buy a 400ex then!well i would rather have somthing that not very many people have.there is tones of 400exs around ,BUT that is not very many mojave s that can take a 400ex!

hey lurch the mojave is sweet.i would like to see it when it's done again.
i finally got my a-arms on the tecate if you wanna check out the pics.
rockrider it's not necessarily cheaper and less expensive to build up a less popular model quad for racing.you need to take a look at my tecate 4.i never could've built a 400ex up the way i did my tecate 4 for half the price.
i won't tell you how much i have into my tecate but it's a helluva alot less then i could've built anything else for.
plus it's a lot funner to be the one that sticks out in the crowd and to be different at the track.
