I took my lakota to the shop last friday. And who knows when i will get it back. I got to looking at the frame and it had a broken top motor mount on the right side. It was the one that connects to the swing arm on the right side on the back. Has anyone else had one of their motor mounts to break. It's welded to the swing arm. Do you guys think i will get a new swing arm.

 

And i'm also selling the supertrapp and going to try the whitebros universal mount silencer on it. Has anyone tried one of them.

I broke that mount too. It is seperate from the swingarm. The part was only around $20-25. Fairly easy to replace.

 

I mostly ride around my house we got a couple of good jumps. And there is this one bank that I like to jump off of it about 6 feet high. It's a great jump coming the other way it's practicley straight up.My buds who have raptors and 400ex's I will do alot stuff on the lakota they they won't even try. When i have the lakota at home it gets rode every day after school. How's the 330 running gaff?
98Lakota hows your running? Have you guys been doing any racing?

 

Check your swingarm bearings. I think this is what made mine break. The bearing were wore enough that let the swingarm move and the bracket didn't. Mine broke about halfway between the swingarm and the motor.

My Lakota is running good. Raced Loretta Lynn's GNCC Saturday, but all I will say is I had a flat.

Big bad I had some problems with my big bore kit, I was stupid, got creative and started blowing head gaskets[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

I have been mostly practicing, getting back in shape. I raced twice and did very well. My last Xc race I helled 2nd strong, but blew a head gasket half way threw the race, but I hung on, and with a pit stop finished 7th.

I am currently doing some tuning and jetting to get ready for a Xc race up in vanleer, tn with 98 lakota. I still feel I have some more power to make out of my kit, but after my former problems I just realy want to ride the lakota instead of work on it.

I hope you have the chance to make it to vanleer, if not, well I just hope either I or 98lakota can come up strong!!!
