I just purchased the prairie 360 about two weeks ago, I was hoping to put a wench on it,skid plates and stick guards,but nothing is made for it. Can anybody give me some input. I think I saw another post on here and the guy said the dealership was offering a winch with the purchase. I called My dealership and Kawasaki and they both said nothing is made for it yet. As I said I am new to this business but sounds strange to me, the winchs are made by other manufacturers. Just for background this is my first ATV, I never even got thru the 10 hour break in and rolled it, going slow in a tricky hillside turn and messed up the handlebars. I also somehow either burnt thru or ripped a high pressure oil hose and the thing left me sit 7 miles out in the woods. Had to push it with another guy the entire way back to camp.

 

Wow, sorry to hear about your bad luck so far, especially the stall in the woods. But don't worry, after all this you will start seeing the real fun in ATVing. Don't get discouraged.

As for the winch, Kawasaki is not offering a deal like that. Some other brands do, but not Kawi...at least not recently. I did a quick search of a few site and see you are right, no one has a winch mount for the 360...yet. I guess it is so new that not many people don't have them out yet. I suspect it will not be too long.

-The stuff you are looking for, will all be available in time, it takes a while for the accessories for the new models to be out. I think it takes almost a year after a new model to get a really good set of stuff to choose from.

-My brother rolled his 400 on his first ride. It made him overly cautious about the quad for a long time. It has taken quite a few trips to fully recover. His bruise took 2 weeks to heal, his quad took us 4 weeks to fix it, his ability to relax and have some fun almost a year.

-The winch mounting plate (if the 360 needs one) will be one of the first accessories available to you. Check with warn, they will be on the ball first probably. I got my mount plate from www.buykawasaki.com, which is an excellent source for accessories. There is hardly anything there for the 360 now, but it will soon be full of stuff.

 

I emailed Ramsey concerning a winch mount for their ATV 2500 winch and got the following reply:
