Hey lackdog, I agree with you about the scratches in the plastic. I kind of think it is just a right of passage that we must all go through after we first get that new dream quad. We just don't want to let go of that new look. But after we ride it for a while we have to realize that we bought it for a reason, and if we want to use it for that reason, then we must except that it is going to get scratched up.

As far as the front guard, I did remove that as well. I didn't think that I would like the way that it looked at first with out it, but once I removed it, I saw the Prairie 650 in a whole different way. With out the racks, and front guard, it looks much more sporty. I guess it just depends on what look you want. I want sport, not utility. And the weight savings and lowered CG can’t hurt either

Just send me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you pictures, I have quite a few. I think it looks cool with out all the racks and front guard. It definitely makes mine stand out from all the rest. I think that when people first see it, they don't know what to make of it. It's not a full on sport quad, but it doesn't look like a utility either. It's a new breed, a 4x4 Super Sport

A guy I ride with has a SP700 and he can't stop complimenting me on my 650.

I wish I new how to link my pictures to my signature line.

Lackdog and trx450. I sent you guy's some pictures of my "Naked" 650
Hope you guys like them. It is a different look for the Prairie 650 to see it with out the racks and front grille guard, but I like it.

Actually I kinda like it I think it would look better if you kept just the rear rack on though, but all and all I do like the way it looks....since you don't know how to put a pic I uploaded the pic u sent to a server and there is a link below to it....

lackdog, thanks for posting my picture. I guess it is a look that has to grow on you I posted some pictures of my 650 in an album at Yahoo like everyone else seam’s to do, but I don't know how you attach the link to my signature line like I see other people do. Can you tell me how you attach the link as you have done, or even better how to put it in my signature line?

Thanks a lot!

where www.me.com is the address to your yahoo pics page....and u also have to change the "{}" to these "[]"

I have removed my racks also. I did leave the front bumper on. I made some brackets to support and front bumper and take the place of the rack. The bumper is as solid as if the front rack was on. You can see some photos at http://photos.yahoo.com/kawlaris. Look under atv upgrades page.

I set my url up in the profile as lackdog had posted. I'll see if it works.

kawlaris, that's a pretty good idea for keeping the front grille guard on.
lackdog, thanks for the help with the signature line!
