650 stalling
#1
I went to go riding this morning with my 650 and when I started it up to load it onto my trailer it kept stalling out. The gas was on, took off the air filter and cover to make sure it was getting air and still stalled out. Decided to take out the plugs(which is a pain in the a$$) and they were black. Cleaned them up and gapped them to .03 inches as stated in the manual and same thing. When reving it in neutral is would run for a little and back fire also it seemed. Anyone have any ideas? I'll probably take it to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks.

I am having a very similar problem. I also checked my plugs and cleaned them. Mine doesn't actually backfire but it sounds like I'm choking it too much. Does anyone know if "choking" actually takes away air or just floods more gas? This problem seems to have started last week, after a 2 hour trip I rolled it off the trailer and the cylinders were locked (didn't turn off the petcock) I opened the gas tank and released the pressure. I hasn't run real smooth since.
This bike has been rolled 4 times and I suspect the choke cable could be the culprit. It may have been pulled on or jerked out of alignment.
