thinking about getting a new 360. does it vibrate? and power?
#2
I've only ridden one of them when I was shopping for new quad. The one I rode shook the floorboards so bad that I don't think I could have stood more than about twenty minutes on it. Oddly enough it did not vibrate the handlebars nearly as bad. I would check one out. Except for the vibration issue I think they could be a good quad. Seemed to have plenty of power, as much even as the 400 Prairie I also rode. It might be that the 360 I was looking at had the counter balancer mis-timed and another one could be a lot smoother. However, I have heard from other people on this forum that the 360s they test rode shook worse than an HD Sportser.

I have owned a 360 for about 2 months now. Yes, the floorboards do vibrate and it is very noticable. Very close to that of my 2000 Honda Recon. You do not feel it in the handlebars or the seat. My belt squells a little under a little strain. The dealer says every thing is to spec. He took to cover off and inspected the belt because 100hr check belt light came on (he reset the timer). I have only run 2 1/2 tanks of gas through it. I like it so far, you will have to wait for companies to build accessiors for it. I do have front and rear baskets.

Hey hotdog ... nice to see other NS ATV guys in here. I priced a 2003 360 at Blair's close to Truro. Seems like a good place and my neighbor had great luck with service there on a new KVF300 from them. Anyway they priced me $7400 + the dreaded 15%, which I considered to be a decent deal. I just couldn't bring myself to jump into a belt bike ... yet. I didn't ask about the 650, but likely if I buy one it will be a 650 ... hard to say no to the power. Hey I don't know where Truto is but those prices are a joke. Try Fremount Kaw. Yam. in Florance Colo. $5200.00 out the door for a 2003 360 Kaw. He could probably ship it to you and save you bucks. Call Gary at 719-784-9633
