Well the mobil 424 that is used in your rear diff SHOULDN'T hurt your front diff, it probably wont help you with the diff lock slipping. It isnt the cable stretching that causes the lever to need adjustment, its the clutch packs. the more you use them and the tires you have wear down the clutches in it. That is why I only use my locker when necessary, that and its more of a challenge.
