Mike Penland of Penland Brother Racing & Team Kawasaki’s GNCC team members has asked me to make the following post for him:

Any Kawasaki Prairie 650 owners who are interested in replacing their existing factory plastic with Kawasaki Team Green plastic should contact Mike Penland at 706-746-2812 ASAP. He needs a certain number of commitments before he can have them made. Some time after August 15th I will have the equipment to permanently dye the handle bar shroud and hand guards to match the Team Green Plastic.

Ya that's my 650. I got most of the engine items from Mike Penland and had the bumpers custom made out of steel. I plan to have them redone out of chrome molly this fall.

That sounds like it would be pretty cool looking but its hard to say if I would go that route without a little more info. Any idea on price? Would the stock plastic be replaced or dyed also? Would it be about the same gauge of plastic or a bit thicker or thinner?

The Team Green Plastic would be new plastic that would replace the original plastic. As far as the gauge and price you would need to call Mike and ask him.
