Mudrunners

I picked mine up at a local goodyear dealer. It was the best price I could find and not have to pay shipping or pay someone to mount them. They mounted them for 4 bucks each. Total cost was $384.00 mounted and tax included. If you choose to order them "4atvtires.com" seems to have about the best internet price that I found at the time. You can also try "swmotosports.com", they include shipping in their price. I am not sure if they carry goodyears but email them and find out. They seem to be real resonsive to my emails and questions.

Kawlaris I could not see your 589 mudrunner comparison. I read the one Parker650 wrote.
Also Kawlaris, is there anyway we could presuade you to measure the rolling distance (with paint, dirty oil, or food), because standing height*pi is not remotely accurate (not that I need it very accurate). I may get a pair to use on the back when driving in the snow. Mudrunners seem to do really well in the snow. My 28" mudzillas are not as good in the snow as I had hoped, they dig through it well, but don't stay on it and cling like mudrunners do.
Now that TRX450 has helped me loose my fear of different tires front to back, I may go with another combo in the winter.

I measured the rolling distance on my 26" mudrunners on stock wheels. I used grease on the tires for a marker. I was mistaken earlier I had thought the fronts were taller it's actually the rears that are taller. The rear was 78" and the front was 77". The tires all have just under 5lbs of pressure in them. Hope this helps answer some questions!

Thanks, Kawlaris.
MDG, the rolling distance apears to be nothing like Goodyear would lead you to believe, especially since Kawlaris is not using 9.5" rims on the back (stocekrs are 7.5). Anyway, I stand corrected and apologize for telling you they weren't well matched.

Kawlaris,
Thanks a lot for the info. I appreciate you going thru the trouble and I’m sure others do to. I will be ordering my Mudrunners today. Bye Bye Donflops.
Nyroc,
Thanks for your help as well. No need for you to apologize. Goodyear should stand corrected and apologize for providing a spec sheet that has misled us all. I am willing to bet that that is not the only misleading or incorrect info on that spec.
I have been reading this forum for about a month now and thanks to courteous and knowledgeable members such as yourselves, I have learned a great deal about my machine and other ATV products.
The only draw back is that I’m spending a lot more money then I would have. haha
