o.k. Take the air filter cover off this will help later. The small cover off the main clutch cover(about 5 inches tall) the rod is right behind it, that comes off two. That brass rod is very visible now. loosen the nut at each end of the rod. Vise grips on the part off the rod where the grippy part is will help next. You need to look at the threads on the end of the rod now to determine which way will separate the pieces on the end of the rod, this means you will be pushing each end further towards the engagement of the low gear. Tighten the nuts a little and then go down a small steep hill in low 4. This is what worked for me. But I'm still a beginner if you need more info try asking "Nyroc " , the guys a "Prairie God".
