I have a website and in the links section if you have a website with your pictures or modifications and you would like the links to be listed on my site just post them here and I will put your link on my links page that way we will all have access to pictures of different configurations and modifications for the prarie 650. Also if you know of any sites that contain information for the 650 like aftermarket accessories list them too and I will place them on my site.

Nice website.

You can link my web site: http://atv.dnsalias.com

I started a tech tips area where I am storing 650 tech tips and general ones too. Since the website is scripted it is a cake walk for me to add tech tip files (no pages to edit). Hopefully tech tech tips will be of benefit to somebody, and if any are wrong hopefully people won't be shy about setting me straight.

Hey Dustin, Great website. I noticed your tamarack box on your prairie. I just got one myself. The mounting requires (they say)a bar at the back of the rack to mount the box to. As we know the prairie doesn't have, I called up Tamarack and asked them how I should mount it and they said the they are manufacturing a cross bar just for the prairie and it'll be ready in 2 wks. How did you mount yours? I'd rather not pay $30 for the crossbar, but I want it to be secure because I tend to ride somewhat fast.

I drilled through the bottom of the box and used the rear rack bolt holes and went to the hardware store and got some longer bolts for both set of rack holes and just bolted straight through the front and actually found right thread size for rear. All that is needed is a spacer for the front of box to give you room to raise the seat I found 1.5" spacers at hardware and had no problems. Don't forget to reseal the holes I used fubber washers to keep the box dry in the creek hehe.
