THERE IS NO 2ND GEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Prairie has no exact 1st 2nd 3rd etc, it is constantly shifting depending on load and engine speed.

Yes, there is a high and a low, but when going along in low, it DOES NOT shift to high!

Low limits the speed, but pulling power is better
High utilizes the max speeds capable of the machine

These clutches work similar to a snowmobile clutch. The belt gets squeezed and tightens as rpms increase and then the belt is let looser as rpms drop (very simplified)

Packard, Do not move the shifter from high to low or revese when you are moving.

CVT stands for contiuously variable transmission. There are no discrete gear ratios between the maximum slow and the maximum fast, so you can't feel any shifting.

If you get a notch in a pulley, you may feel it hanging up in one spot a little.
