While I had my P650 at the dealer to get my K-EBC motor replaced(under warrenty), I had them check the valves and engine compression. Engine compression checked out fine, if you can call it that. Anyone with a service manual, check what they say about the compression... It's like 47-91, using the elecrtic start. That a rather large margin of error, if you have 91 when it's new, and you never check it, then you do and you have 50, you would think it was fine. I don't know? Anyway the exhaust valves were real tight, intakes were not bad but still needed adjustment.

I have all of my power back and I can actually notice the diference from the black EPI spring. What a difference having the valves correct. In a strip behind my house, I could get 42MPH before I brought it in to get fixed, I just took it out and get 50MPH. It stretches my arms out again when you mash the gas. I love this quad!!!! Someone that had their's at the dealer just had 27" 589AT, jet kit, K&N filter, clutch kit installed. My mechanic said it was a real big approvment of stock. The clutch kit was is the black spring in the driven and the red in the drive. I just ordered the yellow spring for the drive clutch. Does anyone know if this sping makes the power come in hard enough to hurt the transmision? I don't need to break anything. I am going to order a jet kit and filter tomorrow, although I am hesitant to jet, I don't want to have to jet it every time the weather changes.

Anyone that is jettted...
Will I be able to get away with only jetting for Summer and Winter?

Sorry this is so long, ride safe.
