GreatCanadian. You are oh so wrong. I couldnt give a crap about anybrand. I buy what I like, when i like. This 650 really got me intrested becasue it was a v twin and becasue it was so highly talked about on this site. I was shocked to see how they performed lastweekend however it turns out it was a non issue.

My story was word for word what happend. I didnt get stuck because i didnt go thru i just came in from shore. The kawi and polaris were the only bikes i saw that went right thru the crap. I you really thing this story is crap and made up then you need to get out and do some real atving becasue when you do you will find that this stuff and situation comes up.

There is a reason why not everyone is a detective. And theres also a reason why im not a magazine writer becasue im not the greatest at writing so everyone is happy. But i would never backdown from somthing i said or saw.

Now you are saying that only the Kawi and Polaris's made it through. But, I thought you originally said that a quad from each manu. made it through, but the Honda's. Also, I didn't think the Kawi's made it through, I thought they got stuck!? Now, you say the Polaris's and Kawi's went right through the stuff?! You don't want people to think this story is crap, but now things are changing a little.

 

Yes there were a few others that made it thru. But the kawi and polairis were the first ones that went in. Honda and yamaha made it but took slightly diffrent front ends. There was a Bombardier traxter and My quest and we didnt really go thru. THe though of having to get of a bike in 2 feet of mud was not appeling. And yes there were a few taking alternate routes.

The mud and getting stuck is just part of atving. NO atv is immuned from this.

THe point of my post was to find out why it performed poorly. Why it stalled, and had the belt slipping. From what i saw it didnt seem like a sound machine.

 

Hmmmm 132 mph on a Mach Z [On Radar] I really have to wonder ??
Is it turboed??
Seems a bit much says an Arctic Cat guy.
My father in law runs a 99 Mike Houle Mach Z and its tuned but stock and nowhere near 132 on the radar. Sure it isn't the lying stock speedo and not radar??

i also have had my KVF650 up to 140 MPH. that was after tightening the blower belt though. did i mention? that it was on a 3/10th`s mile dirt track? the stagger was a bit off, so the pucker factor
was rather high going into the corners....(still got a piece of vinyl stuck to my arsehole!!!

Anyway, about the foreman thing.
I must comment.
My 2x4 prairie 300 got thru a helluva lot more mud than my neighboors foreman 4x4. I have wooly boogers and he was running stock. Oh yeah---the idiot paid 6300 dollars for a ******* foreman, he bought 2 at once, his 14 year old took it up a hill, and it came down with about 9 end over end rolls.

did I mention that at the time, the quad was 2 weeks old and on its first big ride. Broke front axle and snapped the knuckle. Oh yeah, did i meantion the frame twisted? lol
so the dude gos and buys the exact same quad 1 week later.
