Default Fan Problems, Advice?

Well, went riding yesterday on some really rough terrain, alot of steep grades, in and out of ravines, etc. I came up out of one particularly rough trail, and a buddy turned around and said "turn your bike off". Green radiator water was pouring out from under my machine. I looked at my gauges, and the tempature icon was on. The fan was making a funny squeaking noise, like it was trying to come on, but it gave up the ghost. I got to the fan, and you could spin it by hand, but it was not running on it's own, or jammed.

I am surmising that it overheated and belched out some fluid. The bike cooled off after being towed in (alas, by a Honda....with the owner rapidly taking pictures....) and I was able to start it to load it and unload it.

I have the extended warranty, so I am hoping this will be covered. Any ideas or similar experiences?

Chucky
