I like my Mojave. I used to have a 250X and a Quadsport 230 before that an the Mojave is a better performing machine for what I do. Between my brother and I we have either owned or ridden all most all the old school quads, Blasters, Warriors, 250X's Quad Sports, Quad Racers and Mojaves.
For the new school quads I've ridden a 400EX equipped with a cam it would smoke my Mo. But thats okay since they arn't even close to comparable. The Mojave is a good little sport fourwheeler for the woods and in the snow. It is cheap to buy, is dependable and has more mid to top end power than a 250X/300EX. It is worth looking at if you are considering one.

I like mine. It's great for trail riding and general putting around. It's a little underpowered for the sand dunes as I found out saturday.......I did go everywhere my friend on his 400ex went, just took longer to get to the top.Plus I out weigh him by 50 lbs.
I put a pipe on mine and it really woke it up,it will run with 400ex's,z400's,blasters ect for the first 3 gears, then it will begine to accelerate slower.
With the stock pipe it would do 52 mph on flat ground, with the pipe it will do 58 mph, would do more but it is hitting the rev limiter.
The stock tires are great for traction, they wear out very quickly and get punctured easily.
For the price its a great bike...I talked my dealer down to 4k out the door, some guys have done even better.
The kickstart will eat shoes! Put a piece of rubber hose on it.
