Is there any way i can make my belt tighter. I am going to get EPI black spring soon. Is there any thing I can do in the mean time. I am going to work on it this weekend. Any help anyone can give is good help.

No. And, I think it's not worth any effort to try to make a spring spacer.

Just take all the shims out and see if that does it.

Sand the belt so the glaze is gone? I hear that helps make it grab better until you can replace it. Clean it, wire brush it? Someone else said to file it. Anyway, be careful to do any sanding or filing evenly or you may get some noises or thumping sounds.

I could have gone. I got a job since Oct 5 and am working. I don't like the job, but it will pay for gas. I probably have plenty of flexibility to take days off too.
