HI GUY'S:
My dealer (a Buddy of mine) was also at the show in Ottawa. While he didn't have the opportunity to ride the 700. He did talk to the people that did. They said it was absolutely insane!!! The power and speed delivery as compared to the P650 is like night and day! It also has no rev limiter...so it will rev to the moon!!! This bike ladies and gentlemen is the real deal and will be a force to be reconed with...rather a V-FORCE to be reconed with!!!

HI GUY'S:
Forgot to mention...apparently the dual exhaust is a factory option. It looks very sharp. The specs I've seen say's almost 7 inches of clearance under the rear diff!! A very good thing indeed for trail riding.

My dealer said the same about the dual exhaust: it may be a factory option. I doubt it myself; I believe they will either build it one way or the other. I can't see Kawi having it both ways.

Mine has never been "Blown away" by a 400 ex, They run ok but in a drag through 100 yard's they can't stay, they will catch me on top speed but unless the rider is really light they can't pull ahead, have raced several.....

My EX is stock! In the wet grass the P650 will pull it for a little ways b/c of traction (4wd) in a 100 yead drag I can pull my p650 by 4 bike lengths on asphalt.
Now I know how to ride, if I put my nephew on the EX the 650 flat runs away b/c he can't get a good hole shot. The P650 is a great bike and I have never knocked it but if I were you I would not bet money in a race w/ a 400ex b/c if the guy can ride he will win.
If in doubt I would be glad to lighten your wallets for you.

Check the belt on your 650. Maybe your choke cable is Slightly stuck and your a/f is rich. A 400 ex stock will NOT beat a 650. Been there and done it many times with my own 400ex and those of my friends.
